The kick-off meeting took place at the Directorate of Information Technology, Brawijaya University, Malang, and was attended by representatives from both parties, including the board of directors of PT BMN and the academic leadership of the Information Technology Department at Brawijaya University.
During the meeting, PT BMN and Brawijaya University explored various collaboration opportunities, including research and innovation, human resource development, and internship and recruitment programs for students.
This synergy is expected to provide broad benefits for both the industry and the academic world in creating innovative and sustainable solutions.
Andre Andika A., Acting Director of PT BMN, stated that the collaboration with Brawijaya University aligns with PT BMN’s commitment to supporting the development of outstanding human resources and strengthening the innovation ecosystem in Indonesia.
“We can exchange roles; we as employees gain theoretical knowledge from the academic community, and we can also share practical knowledge with students at Brawijaya University, particularly within the scope of business incubation that can be collaborated on,” he said.
This kick-off meeting marks the first step in formulating concrete forms of collaboration, including the formation of a joint working team and the development of a roadmap for collaborative programs.
Going forward, PT BMN and Brawijaya University plan to implement various strategic initiatives to achieve sustainable and far-reaching synergy.
