In the spirit of commemorating Village Day 2026, PT Berdikari Meubel Nusantara (BMN) took an active role in the Village Investment Forum as part of its commitment to driving investment growth and strengthening strategic partnerships at the village level. This participation also represents the company’s tangible contribution to the sixth Asta Cita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely “Building from villages and from the grassroots to achieve economic equity and poverty alleviation.” The forum served as a collaborative platform bringing together local governments, village-based enterprises, as well as partners and prospective investors to jointly explore opportunities, strengthen synergies, and accelerate the sustainable development of village potential.
During the forum, the Director of PT BMN, Andre A. Adhiguna, participated as a talk show speaker and presented a range of collaboration opportunities that can be developed in partnership with villages. These opportunities include the development of livestock facilities and supporting infrastructure, the construction and renovation of tourism facilities, as well as the provision of furniture, along with the development of furniture and home décor products utilizing wood waste as a value-added alternative raw material.
PT BMN also participated in one-on-one business matching sessions to further discuss local potential, business models, and partnership schemes that are relevant and practically applicable to the needs of village-based enterprises. PT BMN views a collaborative approach as essential to optimizing village potential so that it can grow productively, remain competitive, and be sustainable over the long term.
PT BMN’s participation in the Village Investment Forum reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the productive and sustainable utilization of local potential. PT BMN believes that villages play a strategic role in strengthening the national economic value chain, particularly when local resources are managed through effective collaboration between the private sector, government, and local communities.
Looking ahead, PT BMN sees collaboration with villages as part of a long-term journey to create tangible and wide-reaching value. Through strong synergies and a shared vision, villages are expected to grow into independent and competitive new economic centers that contribute meaningfully to national development.
