PT Berdikari Meubel Nusantara (PT BMN) held a flag-raising ceremony on October 28, 2026, to commemorate the 98th anniversary of Youth Pledge Day (Hari Sumpah Pemuda). Attended by all employees, the ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, honoring the struggle of Indonesia’s youth in championing unity and advancing the nation’s aspirations.

This year’s commemoration carries the theme “Patriotic, Resilient, Empathetic: Youth for Indonesia,” highlighting the importance of strengthening national unity, developing the capabilities of younger generations, and encouraging their active participation in national development.

As part of the ceremony, the 1928 Indonesian Youth Congress Resolution was also read aloud, commemorating the historic pledge that laid the foundation for Indonesia’s spirit of unity and national identity.

Andre A. Adhiguna, Director of PT Berdikari Meubel Nusantara, who served as the ceremony’s presiding officer, emphasized that building Indonesia is a shared responsibility across all segments of society, regardless of profession or field of work. In his address, he encouraged employees to put the values of the Youth Pledge into practice through meaningful action.

“Let us keep the spirit of the Youth Pledge alive in every step we take and every contribution we make. Let us be a generation that is patriotic in its love for the nation, resilient in its work, and empathetic in strengthening unity for a more advanced Indonesia,” he said.

“Just as a piece of wood requires time, craftsmanship, and precision to become a quality product, national progress likewise depends on the hard work, unity, and perseverance of the entire nation.”
