In commemoration of the 118th National Awakening Day, PT Berdikari Meubel Nusantara organized a flag ceremony attended by all employees. The ceremony was conducted in an orderly and solemn manner as a form of respect for the values of unity, national spirit, and the historical struggle of the Indonesian people.
The ceremony proceeded smoothly, marked by the raising of the Red and White flag and the reading of the official speech of the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia by the Ceremony Inspector. The speech emphasized that National Awakening Day is a significant milestone, referring to the emergence of national consciousness through the establishment of Boedi Oetomo in 1908. This spirit marked a transformation in the nation’s strugglefrom physical resistance to intellectual and diplomatic efforts.
Furthermore, the speech highlighted that national awakening is an evolving process that adapts to the challenges of each era. In today’s context, the challenges faced by the nation extend beyond territorial sovereignty to include information sovereignty and digital transformation. Therefore, all elements of society are encouraged to adapt to global dynamics without losing their national identity.

Carrying the theme “Jaga Tunas Bangsa Demi Kedaulatan Negara – Safeguarding the Nation’s Future Generation for National Sovereignty,” this year’s commemoration underscores the importance of collective responsibility in nurturing and protecting the younger generation. The theme reflects a shared commitment to move forward by ensuring that every child has access to protection, education, and an enabling environment for growth as the foundation of Indonesia’s future.
As part of the nation, PT Berdikari Meubel Nusantara consistently upholds the values of nationalism in every aspect of its operations. This commitment is demonstrated through continuous contributions to human capital development, performance improvement, and active participation in supporting national development, towards achieving a stronger and more sovereign Indonesia.
